Blaster Shot Score Keeping Default Settings

With Blaster Shot Score Keeping...you can configure each game when starting a new one or set some settings that you want to use for all future games.

 

To Preset Default Settings for Blaster Shot Games

  1. Go to My Account

  2. Look for Default Settings

  3. Look for Game

  4. Game Length...Set for Amount of Time you want per Game (in seconds)

  5. Health Points...we recommend leaving Blank and setting in Game Section unless you will always be using Health Points in score keeping

  6. Auto Revive Time...we recommend leaving Blank and setting in Game Section unless you will always be using Auto Revive Time per game

  7. Player Elimination Score… How many points your team will gain when knocking out another player. Only applies if Health Points are enabled in the game

  8. Auto Revive Time...we recommend leaving Blank and setting in Game Section unless you will always be using Auto Revive Time per game

  9. Led Blink Time...preset to .5 seconds (this is how long LED will Flash

  10. Score Board Template...preset to Full which shows individual player stats while Simple shows just the team scores and hits (only applicable for Team games)

 

To View Blaster Shot Scoreboard From Another Device (TV or Monitor)

 

1. Get your IP Address

  1. Go To Android Setting (On your Home Screen, swipe up or Tap apps button)

  2. Press “About Tablet”

  3. Press “Status Information”

  4. Write Down the IP Address

2. Get Your Account Number:

  1. Click “My Account”

  2. Write down your account number

3. Connect your Scoreboard Display (laptop, TV with web browser,) to same wifi network as tablet or phone running Blaster Shot application

4. Go to +http://TABLET_IP_ADDRESS:3080/MY_ACCOUNT_NUMBER/scoreboard on the web

5. You should see either “No Active Game” or the last game played

6. When you start a game, the scoreboard, the scoreboard will automatically update

Blaster Shot Score Keeping Vest Games

 

There are 3 Blaster Shot Score Keeping Vest Games

 

Team Play (with full scoreboard or team scoreboard)

 

  1. This Game is the standard Score Keeping Game.

  2. When player is Hit, the team that Hit player gets score and is displayed on Score Board. Display will be either in a Team Only format or Full Player Details Score

  3. No Health Credits or Revive Time

 

The goal of this game is to keep players shooting until time limit is reached

 

Elimination Game with Timed Auto Revive

 

  1. Each player is assigned a certain amount of Health Points

  2. Each player is assigned a Revive Time (how long player is inactive)

  3. When player is Hit...team that Hits player gets score

  4. A Health Point is deducted when the player is hit and opposing team gets score

  5. When player hits exceeds assigned Health Points...player’s vest goes dark and will not receive any hits

    a. If a player elimination score is set, then the opposing team gets that score added to their when the player’s health points are depleted.

  6. The device will turn itself back on once the countdown is over

     

The goal of this Game is to have elimination of players while allowing eliminated Players to continue playing after a timeout and not have to stop playing

 

Elimination Game with No Revive Time

 

  1. Each player is assigned a certain amount of Health Points

  2. The Revive time option must be empty

  3. When player is Hit...team that Hit player gets score

  4. Each time player is Hit...Health Point is deducted

  5. When player Hit exceeds assigned Health Points...player’s vest goes dark and will not receive any hits

    a. If a player elimination score is set, then the opposing team gets that score added to their when the player’s health points are depleted.

  6. Player is out of game until next game

The Goal of game is to have Complete Elimination until next game

 

 

 

 

How To Set Up a Blaster Shot Score Keeping Game

 

  1. Turn on your Blaster Shot Devices (Vests)

  2. Open Blaster Shot app

  3. Game Presets are automatically displayed (these presets can be changed as needed on the Game Screen or in My Account)

  4. Press “Find Blaster Shot devices”

  5. At end of day Turn Off your Blaster Shot Devices (Vests or Targets)

 

Set Up Team Play Game

 

  1. Set Game Time Limit in Seconds (Length of Game) (can be present)

  2. Change Score Per Hit (optional) (can be present)

  3. Health Points (leave blank)

  4. Auto Revive (leave blank)

  5. Player Elimination Score (leave blank)

  6. LED Blink Time (can be preset)

  7. Choose Score Board Type Display (Full or Simple)

  8. Prepare Devices:

    • Vest: Choose Color

  1. Press Run for Devices

  2. Wait for devices to light up

  3. Press Start Game (Scoreboard will become active at this time)

  4. A live view of the current running game will display. The game will end once the countdown reaches 0 and the devices will turn off.

 

Set Up Elimination Game with Quick Revive Time

  1.  

  2. Set Game Time Limit in Seconds (Length of Game) (can be present)

  3. Change Score Per Hit (optional) (can be present)

  4. Set Health Points per player (amount of Hits a player takes before going dark)

  5. Set Auto Revive Time (how long a player is dark before turning back on)

  6. Set Player Elimination Score (add how many additional points opposing team receives when player is eliminated)

  7. Choose Scoreboard Type Display (Full or Simple)

  8. Prepare Devices:

    • Vest: Choose Color

  1. Press Run for Devices

  2. Wait for devices to light up (Scoreboard will become active at this time)

  3. Press Start Game

  4. A live view of the current running game will display. The game will end once the countdown reaches 0 and the devices will turn off.

     

 

 

 

 

Set Up Elimination Game with No Auto Revive

  1.  

  1. Set Game Time Limit in Seconds (Length of Game) (can be present)

  2. Change Score Per Hit (optional) (can be present)

  3. Set Health Points per player (amount of Hits a player takes before going dark)

  4. Set Player Elimination Score (add how many additional points opposing team receives when player is eliminated)

  5. Make sure Auto Revive Time option is blank/empty (player with depleted Elimination Score will go and stay dark)

  6. Choose Scoreboard Type Display (Full or Simple)

  7. Prepare Devices:

  • Vest: Choose Color

  1. Press Run for Devices

  2. Wait for devices to light up

  3. Press Start Game

  4. A live view of the current running game will display. The game will end once the countdown reaches 0 and the devices will turn off.

 

Load Last Game

 

This setting allows you to repeat every detail of previous game for faster game setup

 

When Current Game is completed:

  1. Press New Game

  2. Press Load Last Game

  3. Previous Game will load

  4. Press Run For Devices

  5. Press Start Game

  6. A live view of the current running game will display. The game will end once the countdown reaches 0 and the devices will turn off.
